How to Get Your Utility Company to Start Paying You.

Get Rich off the Very Companies You Pay Each Month for Goods and Services (Gas, Electricity, and Water Companies)

You are not wealthy in financial assets because you have not stopped and thought. Use your brain!

People send a check to their gas and electric companies every month for over sixty years and never stop and think, “Wait a minute! I am not the only one who is forced to send them a check. All my neighbors and friends and the other millions who live in my state, plus all the businesses and government offices in that state, must pay, too!”

People never stop and think they must be profitable to be around for that long. Investor thinking must be, “They must pay a dividend, so if I invest over time, I can get back all the money I send them.”

Maybe the company has its own Dividends Reinvestment Plan (DRIP) – there is almost a 100 percent chance companies like this that have been around for thirty years have a DRIP, so you can skip having to open a brokerage account (and pay a commission fee) and do this for free.

Maybe, just like they take the money directly from your checking account each month for their services, you can buy a small amount of stock, maybe as low as $25 per month. This way, you can start buying shares of the company directly without any cost to yourself to invest in this company.

Maybe in the current age of the World Wide Web and advanced technology they do not have a DRIP. If not, there are other companies that are non-brokerage firms, like www.sharebuilder.com or www.directinvesting.com, that also do this for free.

How many other companies have you been paying for goods and services each month? How long have you been shopping at companies such as Walgreen, CVS, Target, and Wal-Mart? How often have you filled your automobile with gasoline at ExxonMobil, Chevron, Marathon, BP, or your other favorite gas stations?

Do you have a Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express credit card that you use every day? Do you have a favorite retail store that has been around all the years of your life that you shopped at very often?

Do you or your parents and tens of millions of other people have to take a certain medication to stay healthy or even alive?

Check to see if it is manufactured and sold by one of the mega pharmaceutical companies like Pfizer (www.pfizer.com), Lilly (www.lilly.com), or Bristol-Myers Squibb (www.bms.com), or a company that makes and sells mechanical devices such as Medtronic (www.medtronic.com), which makes pacemakers.

Stop and think: how do most of the millions of products like food, water, gasoline, coal, medicine, chemicals, toys, and other junk you buy and use every week get to your town each day?

Hint: at a railroad crossing, do you stop for the train or does it stop for you?

Yes, you can invest in these freight trains! Some of them have been around for more than 187 years (as of 2014) , and they will be around for the next one-thousand-plus years. As a matter of fact, they are such a good investment that Warren Buffet, the third richest man in the world, not only invests in them, but he bought out a whole train company—Burlington Northern! The next time you play the game Monopoly with your kid, teach them to buy the trains, not Park Avenue.

Now, do you see that you cannot really blame anyone or anything for not having a solid financial foundation? Your gold mine has been right under your nose all these years.
